Google acquires Quiksee (location-based video)

Google has acquired Quiksee for approximately $10M, according to the Jerusalem Post. Quiksee develops solutions for creating location-based interactive videos and interactive video mapping technologies based on user-filmed videos. The acquisition will enable Google to use Quiksee's technology in its Street View service. Users will be able to view photographs of streets around the world and enter a hotel, business office without GPS.
