Google acquires BlindType, Inc., a developer of virtual keyboards. BlindType allows users to type on touch screens without having to look at the screen. The software lets the user type anywhere on a screen. BlindType predicts the words you were wanting to type based upon the vicinity of the letters you typed.
December 2011 -- The keyboard of Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) is apparently built on BlindType technology.
