Google acquires SayNow, a provider of voice and text messages from entertainers, community leaders, and politicians to fans. The company focuses on social community messages from the music, sports, television, politics, and broadcasting industries. SayNow’s platform allows voice messaging, one-on-one conversations, and group calls to be integrated into social media platforms.
May 2011 -- SayNow founders (Nikhyl Singhal and Ujjwal Singh) and their team is part of the Google Social group and is working on concepts centered on real-time communications.
