Google purchases Milk, a mobile app incubator established by Digg founder Kevin Rose. Google acqui-hired Rose and members of Milk's product development team reportedly to work on projects related to Google+. Milk is shutting down its only product, Oink.
May 2012 -- Kevin Rose becomes a General Partner at Google Ventures, the company's corporate venture capital arm.
