Google purchases Adometry. Adometry focuses on online ad attribution, which attempts to credit online ads for stimulating a user to click on an ad or buy a product.
Adometry had previously raised around $44 million in funding from investors such as Austin Ventures, Sierra Ventures and Shasta Ventures.
Google Analytics Premium business supports websites in managing data, traffic, and ad reporting. Adometry’s technology will be used to facilitate the growth of that business.
